Reform Pioneers Argue about the Value of the Talmud

In working on my History of Reform Judaism homework, I read about the Cleveland Synod and the Pittsburgh Platform and noticed some similarities between the fierce debates they had about the value of rabbinic Judaism and the sort of lively debates we have about those very same questions today - so I thought I’d share some thoughts about this.
